Rescue a Million is currently operating as a nonprofit 501(c)(3), 509(a)(1) under Congressional District Programs and shares its federal tax status (Tax Identification Number 65-0970090).
Rescue a Million is dedicated to saving our earth's most precious resources - children and the environment. Rescue a Million's Founder and President, Julie Butler, has a background working with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) on the international level and has participated in many conferences at the United Nations including the World Summit on Children (WSC) and the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD). Before beginning her work in the international arena, she worked in the financial services industry and had a consulting company. Rescue a Million was born as a result of her desire to bring self-sustainable solutions to problems facing our global society. |
